Information on Samuel Doak

There is conflicting information on this Samuel Doak. Some stories claim that he died in Ireland before his family migrated to America (they were in Lancaster County, PA prior to their migration to Augusta County, VA), others claim that he died sometime around 1753 (one claims 19 May 1753 with no source listed), in possibly Augusta County, Virginia, although there does not appear to be any record of a will or estate record in Augusta County during that time period (perhaps there is something in Lancaster County, PA?)

This Samuel Doak's wife was supposedly named Elizabeth, although there are no records in Augusta County to support this.
