    "Entered into rest at her son's residence, No. 50 Westerlo Street, Albany, Oct. 4, Ruth H., widow of Harry Backman, of Albany, in the 58th year of her age. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon. Deceased was a very worthy lady, and many friends will regret to learn of her death. To her sons we would tender our sympathy in their bereavement. Mrs. Backman was a niece of the late Smith Dillingham; also a cousin of Mrs. Isaac Baker of this town."
