  5. There is confusion about when Ruth died:
The Jarred media (included) describe her as dying at 19 after 3 years of marriage.
The WPA gravestone survey has her age at death as 23 and date "186-"
However, Isaac married his 2nd wife in Ohio in 1860.
  6. "The history of Doze Cemetery in Garden Grove..mentions an unmarked grave [that of] Ruth A. Newman, the daughter of Lyman B Chase whose farmhome was located in Section 17 where this grave was located .. she died in her 19th year and left a husband and one son..The Newmans were neighbors..back in Dutchess County, New YorkRuth A. Newman, the daughter of Lyman B. and Elizabeth (Mead) Chase whose farm home was located in Section 17 where this grave was located. Ruth became gravely ill. Evidently sensing her numbered days, she said as she looked out a window... "If I die bury me over there under that oak tree in the green pasture." she died in her 19th year, and left a husband and one son. About 1955, this land was bulldozed and the tombstone was found and placed along a fence. Today the marker cannot be located. The Newmans were neighbors of the Wordens back in Dutchess County, New York."
