Uncertain lineage

From Ruth's being "of Rehoboth" at her marriage, we might expect that she was born in Rehoboth. There are two candidate birth records in the Rehoboth VRs:

  • 19 Sep 1733 (or 34), to Nathaniel and Mehittabell
  • 23 Oct 1736, to Daniell and Dorotha

However, the death records show that both of these Ruths died young, Nathaniel's daughter on 10 Apr 1736 and Daniel's daughter on 31 Jan 1736/37.
