Reuben Baker.
REUBEN BAKER Born in Shrewsbury Feb. 8, 1755 Died in Lunenburg Sept. 29, 1834. His Wife Elizabeth Woodbury BAKER. Reuben Baker was a Soldier of the Revolution and was wounded at the Battle at Bunker Hill. [Caution: this monument has the appearance of being erected after the fact by a descendant (though clearly by 1911 when Leominster VRs were published) and may be based on poor research. Specifically, the birth date is over a year off from the baptism date, but just under 9 months after the birth of brother Asa, suggesting it is incorrect. Further, the lack of detail about his widow suggests the lack of concern some descendants can have about those to whom they are not directly related. It is not known if Reuben is even buried here.]
