Rosanna Farrell was born on 17th March 1887 in Dublin, the daughter of Margaret Farrell, formerly Reid, and her husband Richard Farrell, a tailor. She was baptised four days laters at St Mary's Pro-Cathedral, when the family's home was given as 146 Capel Street.
Her mother died in 1894, just before Rosanna's seventh birthday. Rosanna and several of her siblings appear in the 1901 census living with their eldest sister, Julia.
In 1909, Rosanna married Michael Timmins. The 1911 census finds Rosanna and Michael and a daughter living at 2 Vances Buildings in Dublin. Rosanna's father lived at the same address. Rosanna's father died in 1919, and she acted as informant for his death. At this time she was living at 95 Capel Street. She has yet to be researched after 1919.
