Like her mother Chloe Stansell, Rosalia appears with several different names.

Unlike her siblings who reported that Chloe was born in New York, Rosalia consistently reported that her mother was born in Vermont in an apparent attempt to mislead about her mother's background.

Rosalia's mother married newly widowed James Taylor before Rosalia was yet 3 years old. She was living with the Rice family in 1860 before she was yet 9 years old.

Apparently Rosalia had a difficult relationship with the Taylor family as there is no mention of her in surviving Taylor family records which do include Chloe's other children and some elsewhere adopted children.

Like her step-sister of the same age, Ezubah Taylor, Rosalia married before she was yet 15 years old.
