- Clements, Roger - entered service 1780 in Rowan County, North Carolina; born 1/1/1762 in Augusta County, Virginia; moved in 1781 to Fayette County, Kentucky, where entered service 1781; received Pension 1831 in Montgomery County, Kentucky, 1832 & died 7/13/1855; married 1/25/1787 to Hannah Hathaway, Clark County, Kentucky; widow died 7/17/1846 in Boone County, Indiana, leaving children: John, Philip, Elizabeth, David, Keturah, James, Zachariah, William, Gustavus, Hannah, Polly, Pamely/Parmelia, Nancy & Jonathan; son Lewis died before mother; children applied for pension 1851 in Boone County, Indiana, for Pension due mother were: John, Philip age 62, Elizabeth, David, Keturah, Zachariah, William, Gustavus, Hannah, Polly, Pamely, Nancy & Jonathan; children's Penion Application rejected; query letter in file 1919 from granddaughter Annie Clements Ryle, Covington, Kentucky; query letter in file 1913 from descendant Miss Jennie Clements, Kansas City, Missouri.
