1888 - Buried at South Lopham. Robert's burial memorial is made of red sandstone. It reads (as transcribed by the Women's Institute): In/ memory of/ ROBERT WALLIS/ died February 29th 1888/ aged 72 years/ "In the midst of life we are in death". On the footstone there is: R W/ 1888.
