Robert Pollard was the son of the "other son" who died at sea who he surmises was named Richard Pollard.
On 25 January 175_, "Robert Pollard junr" wrote his will. He mentioned his wife, Anne and his son Richard Pollard and an unbaptized son . "I give to my son Richard Pollard my land and plantation wherein I now live which my father gave me. I give unto my infant son unbaptized my land and plantation that I purchased of William Pollard and my Will is that all the remainder be equally divided amongst my loving wife Anne Pollard and my two sons above named." He apponted Obadiah Marriot and John Pendleton executors. The Will was proved in King & Queen Co., VA on _?_ day of October 1757 by John Pendleton. The witnesses were Robert Pollard and Mildred Pollard.
