    "5 Robert1 Parke was baptized in Poslingford, co. Suffolk, on 3 June 1580. He died in Mystic (Stonington), Connecticut, on 4 February 1664/5 and was buried on the 7th. … Robert Parke followed his son William to New England by 1639 and possibly earlier. He was a deputy to the General Court for the town of Wethersfield, Connecticut, in August 1642. He removed to New London, where he was a selectman in 1651 and Deputy in May 1652. Robert was in Stonington by 1658 and back in New London in 1662."
