His confederate pension application gives his name as Robet L. Morrow. He was born in Warren County, Tennessee, 25 Mar 1832, and has lived there ever since. He was a member of Company B, Thirty Fifth Regiment Tenn[?] Infantry, and was in the hospital at Charlotte, NC at surrender. He enlisted 6 Sep 1861, and was released 12 May 1865.

His application, signed Dec. 6, 1905, indicates that his health never recovered after he got pneumonia during the war. He has supported himself with odd jobs, but cannot any more. His 8 children are poor and unable to help him, his wife is deceased. He lists his children as Thos C. 49, Novilln 47, josie 45, Ann 43, Cora 40, Bob Lee 37, Clokie 25[?], John L. 31 - “one dead”.
