Jackson of Sycamore, Ill., have notified friends here that they are the parent of their first son, born Friday, March 6. Mr. and Mrs. Jackson have two daughters, Pamela Lee, age 6, and Sharon Ann, two years old. Mrs. Clarence P. Jackson of West Market Street is the mother of Mr. Jackson. The maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Rhyne of Lafayette.

Obituary contributed by Jerry Jackson of Park City, Utah 21 June 1980 (this is d/o/d; publishing date or paper unknown) Robert Lewis Jackson, 66, former resident of Whitley County, died at Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford, Ill. at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Sycamore, Illinois has been his residence since 1940. He has been in failing health for 6 years. He was born April 9, 1914 in Thorncreek Township, the son of Clarence P. and Elizabeth L. Jagger Jackson. His formative years were spent in Columbia Township. He graduated from Columbia City High School in 1931 and earned his BS degree in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University in 1935. He was a retired manager of Ideal Manufacturing Co., Sycamore, Ill. and a member of the Episcopal Church. He served with the Signal Corp., U.S. Army, during World War II, in Europe. Mr. Jackson is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita, who passed away in 1969. Surviving are one son, John Jackson, Rockford, Ill.; two daughters, Pamela Jackson Seaver, PHD, Sycamore, Ill. and Mrs. Glenn (Sharon) Hollister, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; one grandson, Brett Hollister, one brother, Harold E. Jackson, R 1, Columbia City. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Episcopal Church, Sycamore, Ill. Friends may call at Van Natta Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ill. Tuesday evening. Burial will be at Sycamore, Illinois.
