Mr. Robert Daryl Hendricks, 83, of Dawson Springs, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

He was born December 31, 1926 in Milport, KY to the late Jesse Hendricks and Mattie Croxton Hendricks. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lea Hendricks; three sisters, Martha Henderson, Dean Watson and Emma Bowles and two brothers, Jesse Hendricks, Jr. and Carlos Hendricks.

Mr. Hendricks was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Madisonville. He was a retired union coal miner. He loved fishing and farming.

He is survived by one daughter, Robin (Bruce) Knight of Henderson; two sons, Thomas (Earline) Densmore of Dawson Springs and David (Sheila) Densmore of Dawson Springs; two sisters, Frieda Alexander and Nelvie (Donald) Bradley both of Madisonville; four brothers, Dudley (Teresa) Hendricks of Madisonville; Emmett (Linda) Hendricks of Madisonville; Marvin (Diane) Hendricks of Madisonville and Ronnie (Becky) Hendricks of Madisonville; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Family.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home
