    Robert [Buchanan] was the son of Moses Buchanan and Elizabeth Buchanan (a Buchanan in her own right). Moses was the son of Samuel Buchanan and Martha (probably Keys). Moses was probably born in PA, but I have that Robert was born in Washington Co., VA. Robert died in 1845, Lincoln Co., TN. Samuel Buchanan started in PA (Chester Co.) and went to Washington/Augusta Co., VA. Many of his descendants went to TN.
