RICHARD1 York at Dover, NH by 1635 by his own deposition. He had a wife Elizabeth (____) York who was ± 62 years old in 1680. After he died she married second before Oct. 1680 to William Graves. Richard York house-lot on Dover Neck 1642, a 100 acre grant on Lamprill River in 1656 and a farm at Oyster River. He bought 50 acres at Littlejohn’s creek from William Hilton and sold it 7 Aug 1661 to Joseph Austin. He was on the Grand jury in 1643, 1656, 1664, 1667, 1668, 1669. See Ault. Lists 47, 354abc, 355 ab, 356a, 361a, 362a, 363abc, 365, 366. His will was unsigned on 23 Apr. 1672; inventory 27 Mar 1674, administration to widow and son John on 30 June 1674. He names his wife children and grandsson Richard and Benjamin. Four men testified in court in 1681 that Thomas Corbett had read the will to William Graves in John York’s hearing at John Partridge’s house. Division of his estate was made in 1681. Children:
