RICHARD WEBB was born on 29 Jan 1794 at Mercer County, Kentucky.

He married NANCY D NEWGENT, daughter of THOMAS GEORGE NEWGENT and PHILADELPHIA SPILLMAN, on 24 Mar 1815 at the age of 21. The family moved from Kentucky to Indiana sometime between the birth of Charles in 1829 and the birth of Elizabeth in 1833. He and NANCY D NEWGENT appeared on the census of 1840 at Clinton Township, Putnam County, Indiana. He and NANCY D NEWGENT appeared on the census of 1850 at Putnam County, Indiana.

He died on 12 Jul 1860 at Putnam County, Indiana, at age 66. He was buried in Webb Cemetery at Putnam County, Indiana.
