Personal History

Richard Townsend, son of Richard Townsend and Agnes,[2] was baptized on 9 April 1577 in the parish of Bucklebury, Berkshire, England.[2]

On 25 October 40 Elizabeth [1598],[1] Richard was sworn in at the Great Assize of Bucklebury manor.

On 17 October 19 James I [1621],[1] at the Bucklebury court baron, Richard was admitted tenant of a messuage called Heywards in West End, which had been a copyhold of his mother.

Richard Townsend was buried on 31 August 1641 in the parish of Bucklebury.[3]
