    Undated: Judge's note: "Rich'd Temples Children { Josiah (Eldest) / Jonathan / Phebes Heir / John / Elizabeth / Jabez / Ruth / Thomas / Ebenezer". Phebe the eldest dafter" and "Elezebth the s[e]cond dafter" received advances during the deceased's lifetime.
    22 Jan 1737/8: appraisal of real estate, "set of[f] to the widow of said desest har thurds", "The remaining two thurds we are of opinion will not acommodat for more then one setelment and there fore have maid no divisions."
    9 Mar 1737[/38]: Judges decree: set off "the Residue or two third parts of the Real Estate of the before named Deceas'd" to "Jonathan Temple third son of Richard Temple late of Reading" [note this is an error: the judge's notes and the rest of this document correctly say John, who is the third son, Jonathan being the second son] "the beforenamed John Temple to pay" Josiah Eldest son; brethren Jonathan, Jabez, Thomas & Ebenezer; to his sisters Ruth Temple, Elizabeth and the Heir of his sister Phebe Dece'd.
