Richard Dale Ridgway, 90, formerly of Barrackville, died Monday (July 7, 1997) at St. Barbara's Memorial Nursing Home in Monongah.

He was born Sept. 15, 1906, in Barrackville, son of the late Charles and Cora Ice Ridgway. He retired as a credit manager with B.F. Goodrich in Fairmont. He was a member of the Barrackville Church of Christ and was a third degree mason of the Fairmont Masonic Lodge No. 9, A.F. and A.M. He was also a 32nd degree master mason of theValley of Wheeling.

He is survived by a daughter, Joyce Pinholster of Vienna, Va.; ason, David Ridgway of Cary, N.C.; four grandchildren, Todd Ridgway, Julia Bangiolo, Kimberly Bolick and Jocelyn Bangiolo; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five sisters, Jessie Ridgway, Ruth Grimes, Mildred Hood, Nell Ice and Eva Horton. Friends will be received at the Ford Funeral Home,Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, with Evangelist Steve Snider officiating. Burial willfollow at the Woodlawn Cemetery. The Fairmont Masonic Lodge No. 9, A.F. and A.M. will conduct ritualistic services at graveside.
