    There was a Richard North, who was one of the orginal settlers of Salisbury,Mass., in 1640, later moving to Salem. His wife's name was Ursula, and they had three daughters: Mary, who married in 1669 Thomas Jones; Sarah married Oldum; and Susanna, who married George (Martyn) Martin.

    Richard, of Salisbury in 1640, one of the first proprietirs there. Admitted freeman @ June 1641. Removed to Salem, there made his will 1649, which mentions wife Ursula, children;Mary, Sarah, who married an Oldham, and Susanna. Mary was wife of Thomas Jones of Gloucester, and died 4 Feb 1682, Susanna wife of George Martin.
