Richard(2) Garrett (Richard(1)), b. circa 1653, d. at Scituate, testate, in 1742. … The will of Richard Garrett of Scituate, "taylor," dated 14 Nov. 1727, gives to his son John Garrett all real estate, housing, livestock and outdoor moveables in Scituate and makes him sole executor. He gives to his daughter Anne one-half the household stuff and £60. To "my three children, John, Anne and Deborah all my tract of land lying in Narraghansett, containing 100 acres … which was given to me by Mr. Lairu in his Last Will & Testament, to be equally divided between my aforesaid children."
