    Will of "Richard Deavenport of Woodstock in the County of Windham & Coloney of Conecticut ... Gen't", dated 5 Jun 1752, filed 9 Feb 1761, proved 27 Apr 1761, names wife Abigail Deavenport; sons Richard Deavenport & Nathaniel Deavenport; son William Deavenport; daughter Abigail Packer all my grandchildren. Son William to be executor. Writing on back of will, does not appear to be part of will: "To Richard & [Perces?] Daughters [sic, children?] of my son Eleazer the sum of £4 to ye son & 3 to ye Daughter, to my daughter Abigal..., to William ..."
    9 Feb 1761: Heirs cited. Oath of William Davenport that he cited heirs, except my brother Nathaniel who is present.
    21 Apr 1761: Petition of Richard Davenport eldest son that he is unable to attend court due to infirmities, but hopes will will be reject, prefers not to take administration but would request a stranger, but would take administration rather than his brother William.
    27 Apr 1761: Testimony of witnesses regarding "extraordinary" writing on back of will that was not part of will: one did not recall, other said applied to children of deceased son Eleazer and "that he had made them equal to his other children".
