Rene, born at Grand-Pre in 1801, son of Antoine & Marie BOURGEOIS, married there around 1722; fourteen children listed. Rene LeBLANC and wife Anne TERRIOT are listed as prisoners at Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 1755 (Reference: AGE: v.15, #1-14). Both died at [sic, the province not the city] Quebec around 1759 (AG: v.25, #3-39). !BIRTH-NAME-MARRIAGE-CHILDREN: Linda Dube, THERIAULT GENEALOGY; 1600-1975; 2 vols., Madawaska, ME, Author, 1993; vol. Rene Jean [sic] LEBLANC, born 1701 in Acadie, son of Antoine & Marie BOURGEOIS, married around 1721 at Grand Pre to Anne THERIAULT, daughter of Germain & Anne RICHARD; fourteen children.
