  2.   Proof that she was the daughter of Adam & Mary is found in Portsmouth Land Evidence, Book 2, p. 31: Sept. 5, 1712 Wm. Lawton of Portsmouth, weaver, grandson of Daniel Lawton, sold to Jacob Mott land which he received from his great-grandmother Mary Mott.
