[Note: the printed version, Source:Scituate, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. Vital Records to the Year 1850, p. 1:216, says: "Lappham, Rebecca, d. Tho[mas], bp. Mar. 15, 1645. CR2" The transcript printed as part of "Records of the Second Church of Scituate", which lists all the baptisms chronologically, show the baptism under "Anno: 1645" but the entry for 15 March is the last entry in the year, clearly indicating that it is 15 Mar 1645/46.]

Deed 1 Jul 1697, John Wasbhurn of Bridgewater sells land "falling by lot to my Brother in Law, Joseph Lapham, deceased and so from said Joseph Lapham to his Brother Thomas, is now mine". This source rules out brother-in-law applying to marriages by John's sister, making John's wife Rebecca a sister of Joseph Lapham.
