Your Rebecca HOWELL was born abt 1816, Shelby Co. OH and died abt 1863 in Auglaize co OH. She was the daughter of Samuel & Sarah Howell. The HOWELL Family lived in Washington twp of Auglaize Co OH. Elias Francis Stevenson & Rebecca (Howell) had 11 children. A son Charles Stevenson also married a Howell (Dorothy). For years I have researched this family and failed to find where SAMUEL HOWELL,born abt 1785-died 1839, came from before coming to Ohio and the Maiden name of his wife Sarah. The first record I have of Samuel in Ohio, is his service in the War of 1812.
