    David HADDON [Sr.] constructed the Fort Haddon that stood on Becca's Creek, now in Randolph Co., WV.

    Some secondary sources without documentation claim that David HADDON [Sr.] had a first wife before he married Rebecca BARR. We have not seen any primary evidence for that. However, the gap in birth dates of his children between 1766 and 1781 might suggest that he did.
