Obituary for Ralph Clay Lovelady

Ralph Clay Lovelady, age 88, of Lovelady Lane passed away 3:04 AM Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Christian Health Center of natural causes. Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. John Sebree and Tom Lovelady officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.

Mr. Lovelady was born September 17, 1924, in Barren County, KY, the son of the late Giles Buford and Ethel Smith Lovelady. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Leveta Doris Bradley Lovelady; and his brothers, GB Lovelady Jr. and LM Lovelady.

Survivors include his son, David Lovelady of Christian County; his daughters, Dianne Slemons of Popular North Carolina, Linda Sumner of Christian County; two grandchildren, Rachel Sumner, Sam Sumner, and one great grandchild, Kyle Mann.
