Ralph Emerson DeLapp, Jr., 75, of Toldeo, Ore., died Sunday, March 17, 2002, of natural causes. He was brother of Donald DeLapp and Dora Lupton, both of Sheridan. No services are planned. Bateman Funeral Home of Newport, Ore., was in charge of cremation. He was born Jan. 1, 1927 in Havre, Mont., to Ralph and Cora Delapp. He served as a radioman in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a retired electrician, rancher and mill worker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Therese Eckland DeLapp, in February 2001, and by a sister, Hattie DeLapp. Other survivors include two sons, Ralph E. III of Toledo and Charles of Anderson, Calif., a daughter, Donna Oswald of Los Angeles; another brother, Neil of Kaycee, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.«/i»
