12 xi. Preston W. Brown was born in Rockbridge Co., VA January 15, 1775. Preston died September 22, 1826 in Jefferson Co., KY, at 51 years of age. His body was interred in Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, KY. He married Elizabeth Watts October 13, 1802. Elizabeth became the mother of Louisa V. Brown December 3, 1803. Elizabeth became the mother of Henrietta Maria Brown 1805. Elizabeth became the mother of Mary Watts Brown in Woodford Co., KY, 1808. Elizabeth became the mother of Elizabeth Watts Brown in "Sumners Forest", Woodford Co., KY, July 3, 1811. Elizabeth became the mother of John Preston Watts Brown November 29, 1815.
