They possess two guns, eight arpents cultivated, 10 head of cattle and 10 sheep. 1686, again 2 pages later, "Magdeleine BRUN, 45 years," no husband?, 3 sons and 3 daughters, "and by La Riviere her second husband, she has Susanne Riviere 5 months." They only had 1 gun, two arpents cultivated, 7 head of cattle, and 3 sheep. Had there been a separation? A death?
