Philip of Orléans (born July 1, 1336 at Vincennes – died September 1, 1376 at Orléans), Duke of Orléans, of Touraine and Count of Valois, the fifth son of Philip VI of France of Valois, King of France,[1] and Joan the Lame. His father named him Duke of Orléans, a newly created Duchy, in 1344.
