First son of Philip II and Catharine Welsheimer. When he was about 5-6 years old, he was taken to Ohio by his parents there he lived until early 1830s' when the family move to Ross CO., OH. He married Taylor and about 1848 he moved to Allen CO, IN. His father deeded to him a farm in Township 31., Churubusco, IN. To Daniel and Catharine 7 children were born.
