Col. Fairfax, corner to Renoe, Gabriel Muffett, John Baker. Witnessed by Jno. Hamilton, Henry Pendleton, William Wright. Signed by Philemon Waters and Sarah Waters.
Northern Neck Grants, Deed Book Q, Page 544 - 547, 27 January 1767 - Prince William County, Virginia - Philemon Waters & Sarah his wife of County of Prince William to William Tyler---30 acres, being part of a greater tract granted Charles Cornwell, then to William Looe, then to Richard Wright, then to Philemon Waters. For 35 pounds current money of Virginia. Witnesses were Abraham Farrow, William Calvert, John Calvert, Catherin X Smith (widow of Philemon I) & JOHN WATERS.

THE REGISTER OF OVERWHARTON PARISH, STAFFORD COUNTY VIRGINIA, 1723 - 1758 (1724) On page 160 is the household of Philemon Waters. The number of tobacco plants you were allowed to plant depended upon the number of people in the household able to work them. Names with no age means they were over 16 and tithables. PHILEMON WATERS Jr., of Prince William County "inform'd that there were about Two hundred acres of Surplus land within the Bounds of a certain tract given him by his Father PHILEMON WATERS the Elder, And having obtain'd a warrant to survey the same whereby there was found Two hundred Seventy four acres of Surplus Land which the said PHILEMON WATERS the Younger desiring to have included with his other said tract in one Deed".
