Schon, Patricia E. (Tinker) (nee Dawson) age 86, passed away June 29. Past National President and National VAVS Director, Past 7th District President of VFW Auxiliary, Past President of the Minnesota UVLC, life member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary, active member at Hamel VFW and Russell Gaylord #159, retired from Mpls Public Schools. Preceded in death by husbands, Don Schon, and Jim Tinker and their son Greg Tinker. Survived by daughter, Peggy (Rick) Powell; 3 granddaughters, Traci, Maria and Kathleen Trish (Ryan) Coller; great-grandson, Jake; many loving adopted families, friends and relatives. Visitation Tuesday, July 2 from 5-8 PM with a VFW ritual at 5 PM and rosary at 6 PM at the Robbinsdale Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Wednesday, July 3 at Ascension Church, 1723 Bryant Ave. N., Mpls with visitation 1 hr. prior at the church.
