Joseph Jones m. Weymouth 11 Nov 1657 Patience, d/o Thomas Little, who d. Hingham 25 Oct 1723, aet. 84.
[However, there are some doubts about this death date. The Hingham VRS have another death record "Patience Jones died Ap 11 1693". 1693 is after the death of Joseph's daughter Patience in 1688/89, and Patience Jones, the wife of Benjamin, remarried in 1704 so it could not refer to her. So no other Patience Jones can be found that the 1693 death could apply to except the wife of Joseph. On top of that there are problems with the 1723 record. The Hingham VR, p. 73, records the death as "Patience Wife of Thomas Jones", not Joseph Jones. Now Thomas Jones did not have a wife named Patience (it was Katherine), so the History of Hingham probably assumed this was simply an error.(And just for completeness, we can also rule out Patience, the daughter of Thomas and Katherine Jones, b. 1709, who m. 1733 Daniel Lazell.)]
