  3. Source:Vital records of Pembroke, Massachusetts, to year 1850, p. 245, gives the marriage of Jonathan Boyce of Salem to "Abigal Chamberlin" on 2 Feb 1726[/7]. Source:The history of Salem, Massachusetts (227929) says this marriage occurred bef. 1723, but it is not clear what the justification for this statement is. Jonathan's father is said to have died in 1723, so perhaps a probate document mentions Abigail? In any event, it appears to be wrong, since if Patience (Gaskill) Boyce d. bef. 1725, we can not account for the seven daughters mentioned in her father's will of 1 Sep 1725.
