WORCESTER -- Osgood ``Ossie Park, 87, of Worcester, died Friday, Jan. 24, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. He leaves his wife, Jane (McLaughlin) Park; a son, Walter O. Park of Worcester; a daughter, Carolyn Brown of Worcester; four grandchildren; and a great grandchild. His first wife of 50 years, Bernice E. (Clark) Park, died in 1990. A daughter, Nancy Ann Park, predeceased him. He was born in Cambridge, the son of Leonard and Katherine (Wardwell) Park, and lived here most of his life. Mr. Park was a long time florist and was part owner of the former Littlefield's Florist in Worcester, and Mattson Florist in Holden. He later worked at several area florists, including Snyder Greenhouses and Florist in Worcester. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed Cape Cod. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden (www.milesfuneralhome.com). Burial will be private in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. There are no calling hours.
