BIOGRAPHY: There was a big Exposition in Chicago. Robert remembers his mother, Ora Hovers, working at one of the exhibits - she also worked as a telephone operator. She must have needed the money at that time. (Notes from interview with Robert C. Roos, June 17, 2001) (compilers note: "Century of Progress" International Exposition was held in Chicago in 1933/1934)
