“Dewittville......Word has been received of the death today of Mrs. Nina Galloway Anderson of Sarasota, Fla., who is a summer resident here, and formerly lived in Ripley.

Mrs. Anderson was born Dec. 12, 1884 at Westfield, the younger daughter of James and Rachael Crosgrove Galloway.

Surviving are her husband Merle F. Anderson and the following sons: Gerald, living in the Middle west, and Donald and Kenneth both of Sarasota, Fla., and one brother, Hugh G. Galloway, Dewittville, who is in Holly Hill, Fla. for the winter, besides two grandchildren. An older sister, the late Miss Nellie Galloway, Westfield, passed away May 5, 1952. A brother, the late John Galloway of Mayville, died in 1917. Word of the funeral arrangements has not yet been received.

Mrs. Anderson operated a gift shop business at Chautauqua during the summer months. She has been in failing health, since returning to her home in Sarasota, in October.”
