Richard and Ruth Farnlacher visited the church in Lonnerstadt. This is the same church in which Nikolaus Farnlacher was baptised (on July 18, 1820). Still in use is an ancient, ornately decorated baptismal font. It is possible that this is the same font used for Nikolaus' baptism. (See the picture of this font in "A Genealogical History for the Farnlacher/Farnlucher Families, 1989" by Karl Farnlacher)

"Nicolaus Farnlacher born in Frimerdorf Konigreich Bayern, July 14, 1820, died on the 5th and interred on 7th of October, 1880." Script for "Ba" looks a lot like that for "Lo". I first interpretted 'Bayern' to by 'Loyern'. Research at SPG clarified this.
