Theale, Nicholas. Of Watertown, Mass., 1638; rem. 1645 to Stamford, where he d. 19 Aug. 1658. He m. Elizabeth -----, who m. (2) abt. 1659, Thomas Ufford, and d. 27 Dec. 1660. Will presented 1659, witnessed by Nicholas Knapp and Joseph Theale, noted the wife, son and dau. In 1660 after Ufford's death, his children made an agreement with his widow (formerly the widow Theale) and her children; signed by the widow and her children (Joseph Theale and William Ratliffe), and on behalf of Thomas Ufford's children by Alexander Bryan, John Archer, Thomas Ufford of Stratford, John Ufford, and Roger Terrill.
