(not on 'parent' search') Ralph b b abt 1192 Possibly Beatrice b abt 1194, all at Tockington Nicholas' name on these birth records is now Nicholas Fitz Pons. he was also the Steward of Gilbert, Earl of Gloucester (1217-30), Keeper of Gloucester Castle, Keeper of the Honour of Dunster In 1194 -5, Nicholas also gave 300 marks to the ransom of Richard I the lionhearted, King of England. Nicholas and his son Hugh were among the Rebel barons against King John of England who forced John to sign the Magna carta
