Mrs. Nellie B. Latimer
Mrs. Nellie B. Latimer, 80, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P.E. Garber, 656 Dickey NW, at 7:15 p.m. Monday. She had suffered a stroke on Nov. 30.
Born in Niles, April 7, 1870, a daughter of [William] David and Julia Barber Saunders, Mrs. Latimer had been a lifelong resident of the Warren area and resided with her daughter the past 16 years after coming here from Vienna.
She became a member of the Central Christian Church in 1889.
Surviving are two sons, Clyde [step-son] of Warren and David of Palmyra; three daughters, Mrs. Garber and Luella Vail [step-dau], both of Warren, and Miss Mabel Latimer [step-dau] of Chicago, and seven grandchildren.
Her husband, James [John Forbes] Latimer died in 1889 [1899].
The body is at the Roberts Memorial Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in charge of Rev. Edwin Bobbitt. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
