My brick wall is Joseph Maddocks b 1769 Lincolnville, ME d 17 Oct 1853 buried Hermon's Pond Cemetery. He had a son Nathaniel B. born 24 Aug 1804. In looking your list of Maddocks names I don't see any of the other naming patterns used within this family: Lewis A.; Eugene; Winthrop and John, but thought there might be some connection, or possibly you have some information on this family that might be useful to me. Joseph married Mary Carr 2 Oct 1791 in Vinalhaven. Most of their children and families moved to Owl's Head, and eventually on to ND, MN and WA although some lines did remain in Maine. Thanks for any advice or assistance you can provide.
