2. Nathaniel Hudson (Thomas) was born about 1668 in Holy Trinity, Coventry, Co Warwick, England. He died 10 Nov 1708 in Lyme, New London, CT. He was a Mayflower descendant according to Pamela D. Hudson, WorldConnect, none@@none.non Alternate spelling: Nathaniell (in Lyme town records).

Lyme Records 1667 - 1730 At a town meeting 14 December 1697, in Olde Lyme, CT: Nathanell* Hudson did proposeth for a piece of land on the east side of the grat pond.

At a town meeting, December 15, 1698, in Olde Lyme, CT: It was voted that Nathanell Hudson shall have ten aces of land on the east side of Mill Crick Hill, betwixt the hill and the swamp provide he doth inhabit there upon four years after he doth improve the same and do for the town at the trade of a Cooper upon reasonable terms. Hudson was appointed Cooper of the town. (to make or repair barrels and casks).

At a town meeting March 20, 1699, in Olde Lyme, CT: Nathanell Hudson was chosen Pound Keeper.

At a town meeting April 20, 1702, in Olde Lyme, CT: It was voted that Nathanell Hudson hath hereby liberty to take up six acres of land on the southern side of his house lot provided that the said Hudson lay down to the town, at Mill Crick Hill, five acres not pregudishing the highways.
