    He was a husbandman and dwelt at Chelmsford. On 10 Jan 1709-10, he divided his real estate in the north part of Chelmsford between his three sons, Benjamin, Samuel, and Nathaniel, giving deeds to each. An entry on the appraisal of the estate of his son, Benjamin in December 1719 states that he was then living, "76 years of age."
