1865 Agriculture Schedule: Nathan Richardson devoted 50 acres of his land to pasture in 1864, 5 acres in 1865; he made 2 tons of hay in 1864 and 25 tons in 1865. He planted 3 acres of oats 1864 and 1 1/2 acres in 1865.He made 300 pounds of maple syrup and 7 gallons of maple molasses made in 1865. Two cattle were killed for meat. He owned 15 cows in 1864 and made 2000 pounds of butter. He also owned 1 horse that was 2 years old or younger and several poultry. He sheared one sheep in 1864 that produced 5 pounds of wool.
