Muriel Race

 ALBANY - Muriel Race, 79, of Sand Creek Road, Colonie, formerly of Hudson, died Sunday at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany.
 Born in Mt. Kisco, she was the daughter of the late George and Grace (Raught) Smalley.
 A homemaker, she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Albany and of the MIllie Hardwick Lodge, Sheperds of Bethlehem; and was a former member of Mt. Marino Chapter 366, Order of the Easten Star, Hudson.
 Surviving are her husband Cornelius S. Race; a son, William H. Race of Loudonville; a brother, William Smalley of Hudson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
 Funeral Services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the Philip J. Frederick Funeral Home, 16 Manning Square, Albany.
 Interment will be in Cedar Park Cemetery, Hudson.
 Calling hours will be Tuesday, 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
 Memorials may be made to the Children's Cancer Unit at Albany Medical Center Hospital, New Scotland Ave., Albany.
